In this article, Laura D’Onofrio, Staff Writer for the Northern Valley Suburbanite discusses how Northern Valley Regional High School (NVRHS) at Demarest and Old Tappan have been using Naviance to help students understand their learning styles and find an education path that best suits them.

Their students also use Naviance to research thousands of colleges and their characteristics, track the ones they are interested in and access the NVRHS acceptance history and college visit schedules.

Both students and parents are given access to Naviance’s Family Connection, a tool they can use to plan for the student’s future. With both parents and students having access to this tool, counselors and parents can be on common ground to track the student’s growth.
