James Stoffer, Director of Business Development
James Stoffer is Director of Business Development at Naviance where he leads the company’s efforts to grow existing relationships, identify new partnership opportunities and seek potential acquisitions. Prior to transferring to Naviance, he served in a variety of sales management and business development roles at Hobsons for six years.
Mr. Stoffer joined Hobsons in 2005 as a Sales Representative selling solutions to institutions seeking more international students. Two years later he transferred to Hobsons Enrollment Management Technology (EMT) where he oversaw a sales team responsible for selling CRM and online application technology to admissions offices hoping to increase enrollment through automating processes. In 2009 he launched a sales team responsible for selling student retention technology to institutions seeking to increase retention and graduation rates. Most recently, he led the sales and marketing strategy for the student retention technology and managed the day-to-day operations of Hobsons EMT’s business partners.
Mr. Stoffer earned a BS in Marketing from Clemson University and an MBA from Xavier University. He enjoys traveling, golfing and running marathons.
