Success requires meaningful data
When students, their success coaches and school administrators have access to the right data at the right time, the outcomes are life changing.
Planning alone does not ensure desired outcomes. Equally important to successful preparation for college and career readiness is monitoring and evaluating progress. In Naviance Succeed, many student progress inputs are combined to convey overall progress status vis a vis their individualized plan. For example, Naviance Succeed draws together data from disparate data systems (e.g. student information system, previously developed Student Success Plans, testing databases, grade book, student engagement surveys) to provide a comprehensive view of where a student is in relation to his or her plan.
Naviance Succeed brings together a team of Success Coaches for each student. The information housed in Naviance Succeed provides a real-time view of the students progress and plans. Naviance Succeed acts as a “GPS” in that students establish goals and are able to modify the path or the final destination as they learn more about themselves and their options.
With Naviance Succeed:
- Students to explore their options, set goals and establish academic plans to meet those goals
- Parents to collaborate, monitor progress and support long-term outcomes
- Teachers and counselors to encourage success, monitor program and intervention milestones and customize the readiness experience for each student
- Administrators to track effectiveness, establish accountability and ensure ALL students are career and college ready
