Vice President, Professional Services (Washington, DC)
The vice president of professional services leads professional development and project management, the company’s two primary revenue-generating services offerings. S/he is responsible for ensuring productivity and alignment of effort among professional development and project management staff in meeting the company’s revenue and growth goals for services by establishing and enforcing relevant metrics. The vice president of professional services holds primary responsibility for defining, managing, and building capacity for our paid service offerings – consistent with our members’ needs, market opportunities, and company objectives. The vice president of professional services works closely with the head of member services and other members of the company’s senior management team to ensure clarity and quality of service delivery to our members.Qualifications include:
Prior leadership experience in a services organization desirable
Prior responsibility for $2M+ in revenue desirable
Experience in a high-growth environment preferred
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility
Firm grounding in business principles
Familiarity with strategies for measuring and managing services delivery
Outstanding listening skills, analytical skills, and absolute integrity
Exceptional organizational skills and follow up
Commitment to working collaboratively
Ambition, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent knowledge of the company’s products and pricing
Genuine interest in and commitment to advancing K-12 education
Professional appearance and presentation
Proficiency in MS Office and Web applications
