Naviance makes college research easy. Whether it's matching colleges to a student's career interests, or comparing admissions rates at a student's top college choices, our college planning tools allow students and families to make informed decisions. Students can also compare colleges and universities, explore scholarship opportunities, and track the status of supporting application documents (transcripts and letters of recommendation). Plus, all of these tools are managed from one location, improving communications between students, schools, and parents and reducing paperwork.
Students begin to make a list of potential colleges by selecting criteria that are important for their college experience and are matched with colleges that may be a good fit. Students can also see anonymous admissions results of previous students based on historical data from the students’ high school.
Once students have built their college list, they can access resources like college lookup to find institution profiles, maps, and multimedia student experience testimonials.
Scattergrams are a visual representation of a school's applicant history and their admission results, plotted on a graph to share the intersection of GPA and standardized test scores. Scattergrams are used to analyze the history of applications to a college.
Students can search for scholarships that match their gender, ethnicity, grades, or fields of interest, and many more characteristics. Local and national enrichment programs are also available to search, including includes programs for gap year, community service, post-graduate, school, and summer programs.
