Naviance Alumni Tracker allows schools to subscribe to National Student Clearinghouse® data directly from within Naviance. The integration allows schools to report on where alumni have enrolled in college as well as their transfer and completion statuses.
Through an exclusive collaboration with National Student Clearinghouse, schools have the ability to easily send alumni records to the Clearinghouse and receive post-secondary enrollment data in Naviance.
"There’s no comparison between what it was like for me to do it manually and submit the file to the Clearinghouse©. Doing it out of Naviance, there was nothing to it."
—Michael Homza, St. Edward High School
Alumni tracking reports, populated with data from the National Student Clearinghouse, allows schools to determine the percentage of their graduates that enroll in college, the percentage that persist to sophomore year, time to completion and much more. With this data, schools can compare their enrollment and completion rates compare to state and national averages to see how your school is performing. In addition to being able to run custom reports in Navance, schools also receive standard PDF reports from the Clearinghouse.
Reports answer questions such as, how many students with GPAs between 2.0 – 3.0 completed at least one year of post-secondary education? Or, how many African-American males earned a degree within five years of graduating from my high school? Reports can be customized by class year, student group within Naviance, ethnicity, and gender.
We spoke with Michael Homza, college counselor for St. Edward High School in Ohio, to find out how they are using Naviance Alumni Tracker to report on post-secondary outcomes of their students.
