Senior Enterprise Sales Executive.

We are seeking a full-time, senior enterprise sales executive to develop outside sales opportunities with the nation's largest school districts. This position is based in Washington, DC. Senior enterprise sales executives work directly with the Vice President of Enterprise Sales and other members of the sales team and must be capable of a highly professional, consultative sales approach.
Senior enterprise account executives must:
- Prospect for new leads through e-mail, phone, and conferences
- Relate effectively to senior-level school district officials
- Identify an appropriate sales approach for each potential account
- Conduct Web-based demos and qualify new business opportunities
- Capture complete profile information about each prospect for analysis
- Manage interactions, follow ups, etc. throughout full sales cycle
- Develop, schedule, and deliver outside sales presentations to senior officials
- Write and deliver sales proposals
- Build strong client relationships
- Ensure smooth hand-offs to client services
- Collaborate with marketing to identify and open new territories
- Research trends affecting territory, including general issues in education
- Meet individual and group sales targets

Primary job qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree required; graduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of business experience
- Prior technology sales experience required, preferably in education
- Outside education technology sales experience preferred
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility
