Since the 2015 formation of the Coalition for Access, Affordability and Success, Naviance Network members have sought information about how to assist students applying to college via the Coalition application.
Hobsons has engaged in discussions with Coalition leaders about supporting students during the college application process. At this time, there is no formal partnership between Hobsons and the Coalition.
While we do not have a partnership, starting in the 2016-17 school year, students will be able to indicate in Naviance Family Connection if they are applying to a college using the Coalition application.
We have assembled guidance for Naviance users in the Naviance Network, intended to answer frequently asked questions from our member schools and to assist you in your efforts to support students. You can find this FAQ here.
In the coming year, we will track developments with the Coalition as well as usage of the Coalition application. And, we will continue to evaluate our product roadmap for Naviance based on the needs of Naviance Network member schools, our own market research, and the company’s overall product development priorities.
