Hobsons Kicks Off Inaugural Hobsons Summer Institute 2018
Hobsons Brings Together Over 1,000 K-12 and Higher Education Leaders at HSI 2018 to Advance Lifetime Student Success
PALM DESERT, CA - July 16, 2018 - Hobsons, the education technology leader, today hosts the inaugural Hobsons Summer Institute, the premier conference that brings together over 1,000 K-12 and higher education leaders from across the country. The three-day event is being held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California.
For many years, Hobsons has hosted two seperate conferences - the Naviance Summer Institute for the K-12 community, and Hobsons University for the higher education community. Hobsons Summer Institute 2018 is the first event that Hobsons has hosted to bring together both sides of the education industry.

The dynamic 3-day conference is packed with ongoing networking opportunities, interactive forums, and over 80 engaging best practice sessions led by industry experts. The conference also features keynote speeches by best selling author Wes Moore, and Professor of Higher Education & Sociology at Temple University, Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab.
Nine K-12 and higher education institutions will be celebrated as finalists of this year’s Hobsons Education Advances Awards. The Hobsons Education Advances Awards recognize the innovation that is possible when an institution combines people, process and technology to make a difference in the lives of students. Three finalists will be chosen as winners and will receive a donation of $2,500 to use in continuing their efforts in helping students succeed.
