What if you could attend a fair featuring 30+ exhibitors who can help students prepare for college and life beyond school without paying for admission, looking up directions, finding a place to park, or braving the winter weather?
Hobsons’ partner TeenLife Media’s first Virtual “Preparing for College” Fair will be open from 12 to 6 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, January 31, 2016. It’s an online, one-stop experience featuring summer, gap, STEM, community service, wellness, and college-prep programs for college-bound students and is accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. TeenLife has teamed with CollegeWeekLive to host this free event.
TeenLife is the “go to” source for parents, educators, advisor, and teenagers nationwide who are seeking programs and services for college-bound students in grades 7-12. Schools and districts that offer Naviance can access TeenLife enrichment programs for free within the platform.
Visitors who log in to the Virtual Fair on January 31 can attend as many as 12 presentations and interact with more than 30 exhibitors and other attendees just as they would at a traditional college fair. They can check out live streaming video presentations from experts and participate in Q&A sessions. Virtual booths will feature electronic brochures and course catalogs, images, videos, podcasts, live chat, and more.
Attendees can come and go as they please, visit the booths and sessions that interest them the most, and spend as much time as they want in any area of the exhibit hall. No need to leave home!
Our lead sponsors are Microsoft and Fathom Impact Travel and both are offering exciting giveaways. Visitors are eligible to win a cruise for four from Fathom Impact Travel or a laptop-to-tablet Microsoft Surface.
The event is free and registration is required. Students, parents and educators are all invited to attend! You can learn more at http://teenlifelive.collegeweeklive.com.
